Childhood/Background Lindsey was born on DS9 during the Cardassian occupation of Bajor. Her parents were members of the Bajoran resistance. Though her mother was human, she had been living on Bajor when the Cardassians invaded. Soon after the Bajoran occupation ended, Heather wanted the family to relocate to earth. Kearian was firmly against that, as he wanted to help be a part of Bajors rebuilding efforts. The two ended up divorcing soon after, and Lindsey moved to Earth with her mother. Lindsey was a smart kid, she had picked up technical skills while on DS9 as part of the underground movement, and wanted to apply her trade in more practical ways. She searched out Star Fleet, and was accepted into the Academy.
Academy History Lindsey was a solid student in all areas, but it was her engineering smarts that paved the way for her Academy success. She was always top of the class each year, and was short listed for several choice assignments when her academy studies were completed. While in her 3rd year, she met Jeff Davis, a striking young man in his 4th year of the academy. The two were quickly married after a brief courtship. Upon his completion of the Academy Jeff was assigned to the USS Fairchild as a Master at Arms for the vessel. Lindsey was set to join him a year later when she graduated. Tragically they would never see each other again, as Jeff was killed on an away mission with the Fairchild. Jeff had been hit by an energy discharge of unknown origin on a newly discovered planet. Lindsey was devastated upon hearing the news. She briefly considered dropping out of the academy, but after speaking with her father decided to stay put.
Career History She still went to the Fairchild after her Academy training was done, and served as a Matter/Energy specialist. She eventually moved up to Assistant Chief Engineer of the ship through hard work and creative results. She recently received transfer orders to a brand new Defiant class ship, the USS Maelstrom. She did not request the assignment and is not sure why she was selected. Regardless she was excited to find out she would be the ships new Chief Engineer
Personality Has a "sexy and I know it" attitude, has come to terms with the loss of her Husband, and hasn't ruled out finding romance again. Still uses his last name to honor his memory. Some times can come across as a 'know it all'. Doesn't acknowledge her Bajoran heritage much. Too many bad memories from the occupation.
Hobbies/Interests Lindsey enjoys the holodeck, and drinking in the lounge with her friends.
